Our team at ChemTech Innovators has expertise in the following R&D topics related to production of biofuels:
Hydrogen generation from bioethanol and crude ethanol beer solution (EtH Process)
Hydrogen generation from lignocellulosic ethanol and its crude beer solution
Hydrogen generation from biodiesel byproduct glycerin (GtH Process)
Synthesis of jet fuel via direct conversion of crop oil (not based on transesterification process)
Novel routes to biodiesel from triglycerides (not based on transesterification process)
Target petrochemicals production from biomass and mixed wastes
Advanced applications of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis
Biopolymers from algae oil
Biopolymers from glycerin
Polymers (e.g., polyurethane)from crop oil (e.g., Canola oil)
Our research group has been teaming with other global R&D partners. Under a new LLC structure, the collaborative and/or contracted research is going to be more proactive and productive due to better and more favorable IPR policy than that under a university setting, protection of knowhows and trade secrets by committed researchers, much lower overhead cost, and meaningful and impactful collaboration with partnering teams.
